We are SO excited to announce that Sodha Travel is offering a special interest tour to Cuba in 2016! You have been asking us for months to create a program, and the details are now finalized. The tour dates are April 21 - 27, 2016.
What is a special interest tour? As you know, Sodha Travel specializes in South Asia. However, every so often we coordinate a unique program to a destination not generally under our umbrella. We have partnered with a leading non-profit travel organization specializing solely in people-to-people travel to Cuba. Departing from Miami, spend six enriching days in Santa Clara, Caibaríen, Remedios, Cayo Santa Maria, and Havana. Space is limited to only 20 guests, and we expect this tour to fill VERY quickly.
It’s often said that visiting Cuba is like traveling back in time. On this Cuba tour, take an extraordinary journey through the country's colorful, complex history via the places and people who bring it to life. Highlights include performances by talented musicians in traditional bands called piquetes; touring the colorful town of Remedios via bicycle taxi; taking a historic ride via an antique steam locomotive between Caibaríen and Remedios; and learning about the soul of Cuba’s famous art form, dance.
